There is no additional charge for noon dismissals and teacher workdays with the exception of the beginning and end of school. Teacher work days before the first day of school and after the first day of school are not included. There is a $20 fee for all day care for currently enrolled after school students.
On teacher workdays POP will be open from 7:30AM till 6PM. When schools close due to inclement weather we may operate on a delay or be unable to open.
Our after school program is completely private (closed to the public) Monday through Friday from 3pm till 6pm during full school days.
After school payments are not due during Christmas break and Spring break unless children attend camp. See camp page for rates. We do not prorate for holidays or absences.

SUMMER CAMP INFO & RATES FOR AFTER SCHOOL STUDENTS
Your child must be pre-registered for the 2017-18 school year to receive discounts during summer camp.
$40 after school registration due
$25 summer camp registration due
$140/week for full day camp ($160 for non-registered)
No discounts will be given for daily campers.
There is $25 deposit for each week that your reserve. The deposit will come out of the balance owed the first day of camp. Deposits are non-refundable and cannot be used for other goods or services if you choose not to attend.
POP After School Program currently picks up at the following schools for 2015-2016 school year:
Wrightsville Beach Elementary (pending, please call)
Blair Elementary (Porter's Neck Elementary)
Castle Hayne Elementary
College Park Elementary (The Rock on Blue Clay Rd.)
As children arrive they will be directed to put away their belongings in a cubby and wash their hands for snack. We provide a snack each day. Students will be permitted to purchase a different snack or drink if they do not want what we provide. We serve water with snack. All children must have their own water bottle that will stay at POP during the school year. Once everyone has finished snack, children will be given the opportunity to complete homework. There are always one to two counselors assisting with homework. We also have National Honor Society volunteers that assist with homework throughout the week! When a child has completed their homework they will join their age group for activities or free play.

Registration and first weeks payment are required before POP After School will pick up your child. The school should also be given written notice of a transportation change.

Activities to look forward to:
*Free play in our expansive indoor playground to include Playnation play sets, two large jungle gyms, seesaws, race track with ride on toys, and imagination stations.
*Roller racers, jump ropes, balls, bounce house, and a basketball hoop in our rec room.
*Game room with board games, Wii, Xbox, coloring books, Legos, Polly Pockets, etc.
*Outdoor activities to include swings, Fun Ball hoop and games such as soccer, dodge ball, flag football, etc. Completely fenced in large backyard for 2017-18 school year!

We are hands on owners at POP. We participate in all aspects of our business from picking children up from school, helping with homework and facilitating the activities that your child takes part in. We are parents ourselves and our children participate in the after school program. We understand the many concerns that come with enrolling your children in any after school program. Your children's safety and happiness are our utmost concern. Your child will get lots of exercise in our program. We expect all children to be respectful of themselves, parents, other children and our counselors. We do not tolerate physical violence, foul language, or bullying. We take pride in our facility and our staff and strive for every child to feel included and enjoy a safe, happy and playful environment.
